Applied AIRob Biddulph says human creativity is worth defending against AI
The argument that AI art lacks “personality,” not quality, is a reminder that the creative market is about attribution and narrative as much as pixels. Brands and platforms should treat human provenance and artist relationships as product features, not PR talking points.
Applied AIMoving AI from pilot to production starts with the data
The bottleneck between AI pilots and production value is still data plumbing—governance, quality, and access—not model choice. If your 2026 roadmap assumes AI in core workflows, the real work this quarter is standardizing schemas and ownership, not adding another model vendor.
Applied AILinux founder Linus Torvalds says AI is a “gateway drug” into programming — but cautions about using AI for “serious” work
Torvalds’ framing—AI is great for learning and scaffolding, risky for “serious” unknown-end-state work—matches what many engineering leaders are seeing on the ground. Treat AI coding tools as accelerators for known patterns and legacy refactors, and keep novel architecture and security-critical paths on tighter human review.
Applied AIChina Is Trouncing the US in Consumer Adoption of Generative AI
The gap between US AI capability and China’s consumer adoption means behavior data, not just models, may become the real strategic asset. US consumer and fintech operators should assume Chinese apps will iterate faster on AI-native UX patterns—and decide now whether to copy, partner, or differentiate.
