Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick says the US is "not in favor" of Apple buying Chinese memory chips, and there have to be "other solutions to the memory issue"

Memory is now explicitly national-security infrastructure, not just a BOM line item. If you're building AI-heavy hardware, assume US policy will keep tightening around Chinese memory and start qualifying non-Chinese suppliers before it becomes a scramble.
