Dell’s Pro Max Tower T2 workstation costs less than the Nvidia Blackwell GPU inside it
THE SO WHAT
When a full Dell workstation undercuts the street price of the Blackwell GPU it contains, OEM channels become the rational way to acquire high-end compute. Small teams chasing local training or heavy inference should be pricing complete systems, not just chasing bare cards on secondary markets.

Deep & Emerging TechMonarch Quantum Supplies Photonics Hardware for NASA Gravity Sensor Mission
Photonics hardware going into NASA’s Quantum Gravity Gradiometer Pathfinder is a concrete step toward quantum sensing as real infrastructure, not lab demos. If you operate in energy, mining, or defense, assume higher-resolution subsurface and navigation data will be commercially relevant within planning horizons.
Deep & Emerging TechArqit Invests in Sirius to Develop Quantum-Safe Defence Communications
Arqit’s strategic investment in Sirius for quantum-safe defense communications is another data point that critical infrastructure buyers are moving ahead of PQC mandates. If you touch defense or national security supply chains, you need a concrete PQC migration story before procurement forces one on you.
Deep & Emerging TechNowSecure Finds No Detectable PQC Code in 97% of Mobile Apps
NowSecure finding no detectable post-quantum cryptography in 97% of 136,711 mobile apps shows how far practice lags standards. If your app handles long-lived sensitive data, you should at least be mapping where PQC will need to land, even if you’re not ready to ship it yet.
Deep & Emerging TechPostquant Labs launches a virtual machine for different quantum computers
A quantum "virtual machine" that abstracts away hardware differences is the first step toward a real quantum dev platform, not just lab-specific code. If quantum is anywhere on your 5–10 year roadmap, start tracking which abstraction layers gain traction—those will shape portability and lock-in.
