'It's a beast, but not at everything' — RTX Spark-powered Microsoft Surface Laptop Ultra lives up to expectations, but you need to be a big fan of local AI

Applied AIPartnering with Blacksmith
If agents can write production-scale code, the new bottleneck is proving that code is safe, performant, and compliant at the same speed. Expect “agent-era CI/CD” vendors like Blacksmith to become a required layer in any serious agent deployment, not a nice-to-have devtool.
Applied AIUS to Bar China’s DeepSeek From Federal Agency Systems
AI vendors are being sorted into 'cleared for state use' and 'strategic risk' buckets—once you're on the wrong side, every adjacent enterprise with compliance exposure will think twice. If you rely on foreign AI infrastructure or models, map regulatory and supply-chain risk now, not after a procurement ban lands.
Applied AIDocuments Reveal Military Plan for Agentic AI That Hacks U.S. Adversaries
Offensive cyber is moving from human-heavy ops to agentic AI concepts like ECHOTRIBBLE—even at the whitepaper stage, that shifts the bar for both capability and escalation risk. If you operate critical infrastructure or defense-adjacent systems, assume AI-augmented probing and exploitation will compress detection and response windows and plan your red-teaming accordingly.
Applied AIMamdani says feds have abdicated on AI, urges New Yorkers to push back
If city and state leaders start treating AI governance as a vacuum to be filled rather than a federal waiting game, operators will face a patchwork of local rules much sooner than national standards. Map your exposure to New York and other activist jurisdictions now—compliance, data flows, and hiring could diverge city by city.
