Satlyt takes another step toward turning satellites into space data centers
THE SO WHAT
Turning satellites into virtual data centers is the logical extension of edge computing—compute is chasing data all the way into orbit. If your product depends on time-sensitive or bandwidth-heavy space data, start planning for architectures where inference happens off-planet and you only move distilled signals.

Deep & Emerging TechIntel Admits It’s Ignored ‘High-End Desktop Chips.’ That May Soon Change
A renewed Intel push into high-end desktop and gaming chips is about more than gamers — it’s about keeping x86 attractive for local AI and edge workloads. If your products depend on client-side performance, this could expand your hardware design space over the next cycle instead of forcing everything into the cloud.
Deep & Emerging TechIndian Space Agency’s GSLV Rocket Launches Navigation Satellite
India adding another navigation satellite tightens its control over a critical input to logistics, mobility, and defense applications. If you operate in or around India, expect more incentives — and possibly requirements — to integrate with indigenous NavIC capabilities rather than relying solely on GPS.
Deep & Emerging TechThe $6.3 billion Binance hack has been linked to North Korean hackers
A $6.3 billion crypto hack tied to a state-linked group is a reminder that financial and data infrastructure are geopolitical targets, not just fraud surfaces. If you hold or move digital assets, treat key management, monitoring, and incident response as board-level risks, not IT hygiene.
Deep & Emerging TechHow Hackers Stole $6.3 Billion From Binance in Minutes
A $6.3 billion exploit tied to a protocol upgrade is a reminder that composability cuts both ways — infra changes can amplify attacker leverage at protocol speed. If you’re exposed to on-chain rails, treat upstream upgrade risk and cross-protocol interactions as core security concerns, not edge cases.
