VisionQuest creator reveals where it sits on the Marvel timeline — and it's not 2024

Tech & InnovationApple Unveils $299 HomeView Smart Home Hub, New Apple TV 4K, HomePod Mini 2
A $299 HomeView plus updated Apple TV 4K and HomePod mini 2 is Apple consolidating the home stack around Siri AI and premium hardware pricing. Consumer services that want distribution in Apple households should assume higher ARPU users but tighter platform control — negotiate for deep Siri and HomeKit hooks, not just app icons.
Tech & InnovationApple launches HomeView, its first smart display for the home
HomeView turns Apple’s smart home from voice-plus-phone into a dedicated, high-fidelity control and communication surface. If you’re building home or family apps, treat this as a new primary canvas — design for glanceable widgets, ambient photo/video, and Siri-driven flows rather than just iOS screens.
Tech & InnovationNew Apple TV 4K brings two long-awaited upgrades —and a big price hike
By pairing HomePod Dolby Atmos surround and a findable Siri Remote with a $299 price, Apple is betting some households will pay a premium for a tightly integrated, voice-forward living room stack. If you’re distributing content, prioritize deep integration with Apple’s ecosystem features — audio, remote, and assistant — to justify your presence on a more expensive box.
Tech & InnovationThe HomePod mini 2 is here, but while the upgrades are subtle, the price hike isn’t
Apple is using a modest HomePod mini 2 spec bump — new lighting, faster chip, Siri upgrades later — to reset pricing, not just capability. For anyone building around voice in the home, assume Apple is monetizing the assistant surface more like a premium accessory than a loss-leader node.
